Line your Fridge Shelves

Containers and condiment bottles will often drip; grease and dust from your kitchen floats and gets trapped inside; and if you spill milk, the smell with linger for days. To solve the problem simply line your fridge with liner, placemats or anything that can easily be removed and washed off.
Cover your Food
Not covering food isn’t just unhealthy, but will cause food splatters inside your microwave and fridge. Before you ever reheat or store something you’ve made, cover it with cling film. If you’ve already suffered from a gunk attack, steam your microwave with a bowl of water mixed with a little lemon juice. The steam will make any leftovers easy to remove and will leave your microwave smelling like new.

Skirting boards and ceiling fans are without a doubt the most overlooked, dust-ridden part of most apartments. Just take a moment to imagine how much dust you circulate around your rooms when you put on a fan that’s accumulated months and months of dust. If you really want to reduce your dust circulation, give them a monthly clean with soapy water.
Kool Aid your Plumbing
Lemonade flavoured Kool Aid is one of the best cleaning products on the market. Just pour in a single packet and swirl your brush around your sink or toilet and let the citric acid work away the grease for a few hours. When you rinse away the lemonade your sink and toilet will look shiny and germ free.
Deter Flies with White Vinegar
The most annoying thing about the summer is the flies. If you leave food out by accident overnight your kitchen will likely become the subject of a banana fly infestation. If this happens to you shallow fill a couple glasses with white vinegar and leave them in your kitchen. The smell will attract the flies and kill them before they breed even more.
