If it’s your first time hunting for an apartment, you’ll need some practice before discovering what you want and how to go about the process.

While this process can be stress-free, numerous people become overwhelmed and end up making the wrong choice.

Nevertheless, if you’ve just moved to or planning a Dallas move, this list of new apartment developments will facilitate your hunting process.

Flora Lofts

Earlier this year, ZOM Development announced its plans to collaborate in the development of the Flora Lofts, which aim to offer necessary services to artist residents. The project is a joint venture between GREENarc Corporation and La Reunion TX.

The project is a sponsorship by Arts District-the present proprietor of the land on which the development would occur.  The program is expected to benefit the artist residents by catalyzing their efficiency and offering opportunities to boost their revenues.

The project will comprise approximately 10,000 sq ft of amenity space, 12,000 sq ft of street-level restaurant and retail space as well as 100 available public parking spaces.

In the unique collaboration, ZOM will operate and own other elements of the development while also offering management services to La Reunion TX. Construction is expected to begin in the 4th quarter of this year, and will take between 24 and 28 months to complete.

Loft Development in Fort Worth

RCP Properties LLC-a Dallas-based real estate equity firm in collaboration with Baton Rouge, Louisiana based Development Group, plans to construct a luxury loft-style apartment complex to cater to medical experts in Fort Worth.

The developers will situate the 209-unit apartment community on more than two acres of land in a project that aims to introduce an up-scale housing option for working professionals in a thriving and vibrant neighborhood.

Upon completion, the apartment community will comprise a fitness center, resort-style pool, various lounging areas as well as an outdoor lounge. The naming of the new loft-style development hasn’t occurred yet, and tenants are expected to start moving in the fall of 2016.

The McKenzie

StreetLights Residential-an apartment developer based in Dallas, intends to introduce more luxury high-rise Dallas apartments with its latest project-The McKenzie.

The planned 183-apartment tower will be at the corner of Tracy Street and Harvard Avenue in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood and will mirror architecture at the Old Parkland Hospital and Southern Methodist University.

StreetLights will collaborate with Toronto-based Tricon Capital Group Inc, which will be a major project investor.

The development firm intends to provide one, two, and three-bedroom apartment rentals, which will range from 990 sq ft to 2600 sq ft with a number of penthouse apartments located on the 22nd floor.

Upon completion, the average size of the apartments will be 1600 sq ft.  The proposed apartments will comprise chef’s kitchens with custom cabinetry, chic gas cook tops, and built-in wine refrigerators.

The tower will feature luxury amenities, for instance outdoor dining, fire pits, grilling as well as a fitness studio and a meditation garden. The anticipated date of completion for the first apartments in this project is summer 2017.

If you’re planning a Dallas move and are probably wondering where to start your apartment hunt, this list will prove invaluable.
