1. Frisco RoughRiders

Commonly called Riders, the team’s assigned to the South Division and is presently the Class AA affiliate of the Texas League. They presently play at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

Opened in 2003, the stadium can hold 10,600 fans. The team’s name came after a historical division to fulfill the tradition of Texas Rangers-the major league affiliate.

In 2014, a local ownership under the leadership of Chuck Greenberg purchased the team. In 2012, Forbes ranked the team as the 4th most valuable Minor League franchise.

While enjoying a game at the Ballpark, expect to enjoy the conventional baseball food such as hotdogs, burgers, and nachos.

The team’s official mascot, Deuce is a favorite among kids. Besides entertaining crowds, the mascot is famous for his dancing skills.

Fans may also stumble on special promotions, giving them an opportunity to obtain free tickets. Furthermore, you can enjoy an incredible display of fireworks Friday nights throughout the season.

2. Grand Prairie AirHogs

The independent minor league team is situated at the center of Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. AirHogs plays 100 regular season games annually from May-September.

You can watch a game at Quick Trip Park and enjoy the sports-themed restaurant. You can obtain tickets for as low as $8 and enjoy various entertainment options.

The park seats 5,500 guests and has 13 luxury suites. The venue hosts special events for instance live boxing, festivals, and car shows in addition to providing a great baseball game.

The new park turns every outing into a memorable experience with a party deck, adjacent pool, and a kids’ zone. Besides being a premium entertainment complex, Quick Trip is a high-quality sports venue. Ensure you try the varied food selection ranging from the popular hotdogs to authentic Mexican tacos.
