North Texas Irish Festival
About 60,000 guests attend the North Texas Irish Festival (NTIF), which takes place in Fair Park, Dallas. The three-day celebration from March 6-8 will feature music, storytelling, folk dancers, and educational programs.
The festival initially took place at a local lounge in the early 80s but has since grown to the huge, family-friendly event it is currently. The event will draw top musicians worldwide on the small or uillean pipes.
The NTIF further features top Irish dancers from around the globe and various cultural presentations at Fair Park’s 13 stages. After dancing and listening to the music, you can grab Irish stew, fish and chips, or Shepherd’s pie at any of the several food booths featuring conventional Irish cuisine.

Savor Dallas
Foodies will assemble for a gastronomic adventure from 19 March-22 March 2015 in various locations in Irving and Dallas. The 11th annual celebration allows you to savor wine flavor, spirits, food, and the arts, which play a significant role in this event.
Savor Dallas brings various great chefs and delectable cuisine together with those who value the finest flavors. You will enjoy an exciting range of more than 400 premium wines while discovering the best from the world of drink and food in some very exciting locations.
The event offers programs in the Arts District and downtown, different wine seminars, and a grand tasting. Celebrate the arts and fine living with friends.
Deep Ellum Arts Festival
The Deep Ellum Arts Festival is an eclectic, vibrant, and fun street festival that will take place from 3-5 April 2015. The free 3-day event will feature over 200 visual and decorative artists commissioning and selling original works.
The event will feature four outdoor stages along with non-stop performances from more than 65 regional, national, and local bands. Residents will also enjoy a pet parade, a Rock Art Show, and a 5 km run in addition to abundant drink and food.
Attendees can stroll through exhibits of decorative arts and buy the works of jewelers, woodcrafters, and muralists.
Martin Luther King Birthday Parade
This event will take place on 16-17 January in commemoration of Dr. King’s legacy. This parade brings bands, civic, church, and community groups together in a march. The march will start at 10 am at Dallas City Hall.
You can purchase your ticket for $85 while a table of 10 costs $850. The 33rd annual celebration will have a silent auction on January 17, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
