Best of all, when a season ends, another begins, providing constant year round excitement.
Bean Bag Toss
The Dallas TX bean bag toss league takes place in The Nodding Donkey in Uptown and will provide a night out for 8 weeks in a row. This casual sport isn’t particularly well-known, but it provides an excellent social atmosphere that’s perfect for meeting new people. At a mere $5 per person or $75 per team, it’s nice and cheap; and best of all, there are some decent prizes for the winners.
Pub Games
Jenga, cornhole, darts – pub games provide the perfect social backdrop all year round. Taking place at the Sandbar Cantina and Grill, this doubles tournament is only $5 per person for the entire season. The fee includes all of the equipment, league administration, t-shirt and plenty of special offers at the bar.
Sand Volleyball
When it’s summertime in Dallas TX, there’s no better way to break a sweat than playing a bit of beach volleyball. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, teams and individuals can register for a standard 6 match season followed by a single elimination playoff. There are various ability levels, providing balanced games that all participants can enjoy.
Softball
The Sport Social Clubs softball league (DSSC) is one of the biggest in Dallas TX. Games take place every Sunday at 4pm in Glencoe Park. Both individuals and teams are welcome at both recreational and intermediate level. Even if you have no prior experience, it can be a great way to get a bit of exercise and enjoy some team comradery.
