Texas Rangers
You always know its spring when the baseball season starts. From 30th March the North American baseball season will be in full swing. No trip to Dallas TX would be complete without catching a Texas Rangers game at the Globe Life Park.
Untapped Festival
The Untapped Music and Beer Festival is the perfect place to go if you want to catch some live music. On 8th March a lineup of emerging local and national bands will take to the stage at the Panther Island Pavilion. At only $28 per ticket, it’s certainly worth checking out.
Dallas Blooms
Between February 22nd and April 6th, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dallas Blooms. The show is one of the world’s most spectacular floral events, with over 500,000 fresh blossoms.
The Nasher Sculpture Center
There’s no better time to visit the Nasher Sculpture Center than during the spring. Between February 9th and May 11th it will be hosting a new David Bates exhibition, providing a retrospective of his most famous works.
Luna’s Tortillas Reopening
It came as quite a shock last year when a fire destroyed one of Dallas’ best loved tortilla restaurants; however, in March it will reopen its doors. Luna’s Tortillas is tipped to be bigger and better than ever before.
Big Texas Beer Fest
The Big Texas Beer Fest features around 90 different breweries with over 400 different beers. The festival is mainly focused on the North Texas craftbeer scene and has exclusive kegs, rare beers and one-off’s made especially for the event.
Spring Break Camp at Dallas Zoo
If you’re looking for something fun for children, the spring break camp at Dallas Zoo could be perfect. Taking place on March 11th to March 15th, the event is both fun and educational and allows children to study the animals in a safe and engaging environment.
Dallas Wine and Dine
In mid-April the Dallas Observer runs Dallas Wine and Dine. During this annual event over 30 restaurants around the city provide special offers and meal deals with the proceeds going towards the North Texas Food Bank.
Earth Day Texas
From April 26th to 27th, Earth Day Texas takes place at Fair Park. This free admission event is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness through a series of seminars and exhibitions.
USA Film Festival
On April 23rd the 44th annual USA Film Festival will host a wide variety of American films, foreign works (shorts and features) and Q&A sessions from some of the world’s most celebrated names in the business.
