Rock n Roll Dallas Half Marathon
The Rock n Roll Half Marathon runs in 23 different locations throughout the world. This year the event takes place in Dallas TX on 23rd March, starting at 8am. Prior to the Rock n Roll Half Marathon, the promotion is also running health and fitness expo on 21st – 22nd March.
NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series
With over 5,000 participants across 45 different cities in the United States, the NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series is one of the largest annual LGBT events. This event was started in 1977 to encourage gay, lesbian and bisexual people to compete in competitive sports. This year the events are being hosted in Kiest Park in Southwest Dallas TX from 22nd – 27th September. Over 150 teams are expected to compete for the chance to earn the NAGAAA cup.
NCAA Men’s Final Four
Between April 5th and April 7th, four of the top Men’s College Basketball teams will compete in the NCAA Men’s Final Four. The result of the three games will determine the new champions. This year the event is being held at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas TX, and will be part of the March Madness Music Festival.
Taekwondo America National Tournament
The popularity of mixed martial arts is increasing at such a fast rate that it has overtaken boxing in popularity; however, if you prefer the more traditional approach, then the Korean martial art of taekwondo features the flashier side of combat sports with aerial kicks and fast paced fighting. The Taekwondo America National Tournament is one of the biggest taekwondo events in the country and will take place between 16th and 19th January at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The events don’t stop here; Dallas TX is home to four major sports teams: the Dallas Cowboys (NFL), Dallas Mavericks (NBA), Texas Rangers (MLB), and Dallas Stars (NHL).
